FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions
- Q. What's this site all about?
-
As is evident by the sheer number of sites devoted to both himself and his work,
John Ronald Reuel Tolkien is one of the most popular authors of the 20th century.
An Oxford professor; a philologist; a writer; a story teller; Tolkien was a truly
amazing intellect.
While several sites exist that attempt to guide the Internet community in finding
resources and information on Tolkien, most are of limited scope, incomplete, or
out of date. The goal of this site, as it's name suggests, is to be the most complete
and up to date source of reference for those seeking information about J.R.R. Tolkien.
- Q. How can I get my site listed in your Guide?
-
Simply complete the Add a site form. If you already have a
site listed in the Guide, you can add another site using the tools available from
the Members Administration Site.
- Q. My site is already listed in the Guide. Can I change the Name, URL, or Decription
that you have for it?
-
Yes! The Members Administration Site has
tools availble to allow you to modify both the contact information we have on file for you
(name, e-mail, password), as well as the details of all the sites you have listed in our
Guide.
- Q. Where did you get that cool logo graphic? Did you make that?
-
As much as I would like to take credit for that, I cannot. The ring image is
taken, with permission, from Steve Agland's "On the Bed of Anduin". Many, many
thanks to Steve for letting me use it. You can find the complete artwork
here.
